2008 Spin:
Kelly Bires returns to the JTG Racing operation after an optimistic rookie campaign in the Busch Series in 2007. The 23-year-old Mauston, Wis., native only made 19 starts, but was able to record two top 10s, at Kentucky in his second career start and in the Fall event at Lowe’s.

Scott Zipadelli will continue as crew chief for Bires and the Clorox Ford. The pair showed real promise down the stretch in '07 and Zipadelli expects to build on that momentum.

“Last year was a learning experience for Kelly and me,” said Zipadelli. “We all really came together as a team in the last few months of the season.”

With a full slate of events planned for the youngster and an ever-developing chemistry with Zipadelli, Bires will be a threat to improve upon his top-10 tally of ’07 and possibly contend for a win or two this season.
