Spin:
Sprague started off 2007 in storybook fashion with a three-wide slingshot pass to win at Daytona. From there, he fought frustration that led to an eventual team change for 2008. He joins Ron Hornaday at Kevin Harvick, Inc., and should once again be a threat for wins and a fourth Truck Series Championship (1997, ’99, ’01) this season.
The pairing of Sprague and Hornaday at KHI bring together the two most successful Truck Series drivers of all time. The two rank one-two in all-time series wins (Hornaday 33, Sprague 28) and are tied for first in titles won (three).
“Ron Hornaday and Jack Sprague are what truck racing is all about,” Harvick said. “They are both hard-core racers. I know that they will both give everything they have until the checkered flag falls, and those are the kind of guys I want driving for me.”
