To protect vehicle communication networks from unauthorized access, OEM’s are implementing secure gateway infrastructure that only allows authorized users to access certain diagnostic functions using an approved diagnostic tool.

Snap-on Diagnostics Security Link allows you to access secure vehicle systems using your Snap-on diagnostic tool and Technician Profile.

Getting Set Up is Easy

1- Use a compatible Snap-on diagnostic tool with current software and Wi-Fi turned on.

2- Create a Snap-on Technician Profile, see "Creating a Snap-on Technician Profile" in Help*

Note - If you are already using the Snap-on Cloud (ALTUSDrive.com), you already have a Snap-on Technician Profile.

3 - Link your diagnostic tool to your Snap-on Technician Profile, see "Device Management" in Help*

Last - Add an OEM Account to your Snap-on Technician Profile.
