LINCOLNSHIRE, IL, Aug. 28, 2024 – The new APOLLO+™ scan tool from Snap-on® is a diagnostic assistant, ready with guidance and capabilities for every repair, from the routine to the mysterious. With Fast-Track® Intelligent Diagnostics troubleshooting, a patented exclusive feature that filters out complexity and presents one filtered workflow, professional technicians have everything they need to get through the job.
“With more vehicles on the road, advancing complexity and an increasing average vehicle age makes productivity on every job more important, and more challenging, than ever,” said Helen Cox, marketing and client services director, Snap-on Diagnostics. “The new APOLLO+ provides industry-leading coverage with Fast-Track troubleshooting that is based on a validated repository of billions of repairs records and hundreds of billions of diagnostic sessions. Snap-on solutions are trusted and always expanding, keeping technicians on the path to the right repair.”
The experienced-based software in APOLLO+ shows how other technicians have tackled the same problems in the bay. Verified Real Fixes are harvested from billions of successful repair records. The patented Smart Data automatically selects only the PIDs related to the code that the technician is working on and flags which ones are out of range at idle. Instead of hundreds of possible readings, it shows only the ones that matter.
APOLLO+ provides comprehensive coverage with the breadth and depth of manufacturer-level capabilities for codes, data and tests. It includes OEM-specific scanner coverage for over 50 domestic, Asian and European makes and more than 100 vehicle systems.
APOLLO+ records all data for easy switching to view any alternate PIDs, offers one-click access to relevant vehicle- and code-specific technical service bulletins (TSBs) and can display up to eight live data parameters on-screen at a time.
With a sleek, sophisticated design, APOLLO+ is built to withstand the rigors of the shop environment. It includes a 10-inch capacitive color touchscreen display for great readability from any angle, a four-way thumb pad for quick navigation, fast boot up, one-touch code scan and clear, and five Ghz wireless compatibility.
Support includes 24/7 access to online training, free live seminars and new product training with a diagnostic specialist.
