LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Oct. 2, 2025 – Snap-on® announces it has received two People’s Choice Awards in the 2025 Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN) Innovation Award program. Snap-on won for its APOLLO+ scan tool in the automotive scan tools category and the Diagnostic Thermal Imager+ in the diagnostic equipment category.
“We are truly honored to have been recognized by the readers of PTEN as having two of the best new products in the aftermarket industry,” said Helen Cox, marketing and client services director, Snap-on Diagnostics. “Our APOLLO+ scan tool and Diagnostic Thermal Imager+ deliver the power and information that today’s professional technicians need to make their repair jobs easier and more efficient.”
APOLLO+ features Fast-Track Intelligent Diagnostics, a Snap-on exclusive that combines all the vital information and capabilities that technicians need to diagnose every code on just one screen. All the experience-based and OEM information, data and tests that technicians need are filtered for the exact issue on the exact vehicle that they are working on. Fast-Track Intelligent Diagnostics is constantly updated with the latest information, helping technicians stay focused on the path to the right repair.
The Diagnostic Thermal Imager+ uses infrared technology to reveal heat caused by friction, electrical resistance and pressure changes to track down vehicle faults and find the fix faster. It delivers detailed images composed of 4,800 distinct temperature zones, making extreme temperatures up to 840 degrees Fahrenheit visible with precision under the hood and around the car. A database of automotive applications, guided tests and reference images to interpret results put an accurate diagnosis and productivity in clear view.
For the 11th year, readers of PTEN were invited to voice their opinions and vote on their top product entries nominated in the Innovation Awards program to be recognized as 2025 People’s Choice Award winners.
