News Release: Snap-on Adds MT2600 Training Modules to YouTube

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Dec. 9, 2025 –

With the recent introduction of the Snap-on®  MT2600™ scan tool,
20 training modules have been added to the Snap-on Diagnostics YouTube channel to help professional technicians learn the features and functionality of the new tool, fast.

“Through a series of short instructional videos, technicians will learn how to get the most out their new MT2600 scan tool from the very start, potentially adding an immediate boost to their productivity and throughput,” said Helen Cox, marketing and client services director, Snap-on Diagnostics. “The training modules are available free of charge and can be viewed as often as necessary so technicians can learn at their own pace and comfort level.”

The MT2600 training modules cover topics including Getting started – Features and Controls, Vehicle Identification and System Selection, Performing a Code Scan, Scanner Data – Introduction, OBDII/EOBD Basics, Previous Vehicles and Data, Tools Function – Basic System Settings, Installing Software Updates and many more.

The MT2600 is ideal for technicians who want reliable, key functionality from an affordable diagnostic tool. It features the same software and usability as the other platforms in the Snap-on Diagnostics family and is easy to trade up to a more advanced diagnostic tool when the technician is ready, without having to worry about retraining or losing their investment.

Providing coverage for more than 100 vehicle systems, the MT2600 offers new technologies such as TPMS, hybrid power, collision avoidance and steering angle sensors, plus extensive capabilities like code scanning, live data graphing, functional tests, and relearns and adaptations, giving technicians what they need to complete the jobs that others can’t even start.

Both English and Spanish language capabilities come standard on the MT2600. The switchable interface lets technicians work in the language they are most comfortable with and then switch to the other language when needed, such as working with customers or parts vendors who may need the translation.
