On November 14, 2016 Tim’s hometown of Kaikōura, New Zealand was hit with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The state highway, Kaikōura’s main connection with the outside world, was completely blocked by the damage. That day, Tim’s job went from repairing local trucks to working full-time servicing the large machinery trucks that were fixing the damaged highway, houses, and infrastructure. Eddie started in the oil and gas industry when he was 19 years old. He began as a pipeline welder, and has worked his way up to being a Motor Man and Direction Driller. If anything goes wrong on the oil rig, Eddie is the one who fixes it. On some of his projects, he uses drills upwards of 330,000 pounds and has an entire semi-trailer full of spare parts in case something goes wrong. Ryan Turner joined the U.S. Army as a Carpentry/Masonry Specialist, and has worked his way up the ranks to being a Construction Engineering Supervisor in charge of 40 other soldiers in the 375th Engineer Company. He’s worked on projects all over the world, including Bulgaria, Romania, and Iraq. Brandon is an Apprentice Vehicle Technician who was working on restoring a Honda CB750. Halfway through the project, the garage caught fire and Brandon and his dad lost almost everything- all of their tools and equipment were gone. The bike suffered a lot of heat damage and they had to remake the seat from scratch and repair all body work.
