The Top Technician 2022 winner and runner up have been revealed.
The winner for 2022 is Andrew West from Erme Valley Autos in Ermington, Devon. John Hall, a Thirsk, Yorkshire, resident, came in second.
Both were among the five competitors that advanced to the competition's final, that took place on Saturday, October 1st, at the Delphi Technical Training Centre in Warwickshire.
Andrew wins a major cash prize from Aftermarket magazine, and a mix of tools, prizes and merchandise from sponsors including the Snap-on ZEUS Diagnostic tool. As runner up, John also wins a cash prize from Aftermarket, as well as a selection of sponsors prizes and a Snap-on TRITON-D8 Diagnostic tool.
The news was released during the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Evening, that took place on Saturday, October 1 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Coventry and also featured the announcement of the Top Garage competition winners.
The winners of Top Garage 2022 have been announced as the following companies:
- Business with 1-3 staff - A&J Fleetcare, Leeds
- Business with 4-6 staff - Billingborough Cars and Commercials, Lincolnshire
- Business with 7 -9 staff - Robert Cockings Motor Repairs, Devon
- Businesses with 10-plus staff - Hunters of Linlithgow, West Lothian
- Multi-site - Shaikly Motor Company, Essex
A huge congratulations go out to all of the finalists and winners this year; the standard was raised once more by the exceptional skill and technical abilities displayed by all of the contestants.
