For a while now, Snap-On® Scan Tools have provided the function of Pre and Post Scans on a vehicle. So you're able to scan all codes on all systems on the vehicle with just one touch going through. Now recently that has been enhanced with what we call a Diagnostic Health Scan. So you can walk through and give your customers an enhanced report to let them know what's going on with the vehicle. So let's walk through how that looks on this ZEUS+™.
So to access this new report, we're going to go into Code Scan as we normally would for a Pre Scan or a Post Scan. And now we see we have a third option, the Diagnostic Health Scan. So it's going to check available systems for any potential issues. We'll click on that and it's going to scan through the entire vehicle, all the systems as it normally would, and it'll present any codes to us.
Okay, so now we see the system report has been saved and we can scroll through. We see there's a couple of history codes in here. This car is just coming through us right off the street. So not sure what's going on with the car. So we can see there's a couple of different latch switch malfunctions from history and things of that nature, but really we go down here and at the bottom we see the readiness monitors as well.
Now this is stored in two places. When you saw that it's saved on that screen, it goes up to the Snap-On® Cloud, and then it also is stored to the tool. So in this case, I'm going to go down to my vehicle record and I see I have an attachment over here, the Vehicle System Report. Double click on that, it's going to give me my report page as a PDF. You can see it's got an outline of the vehicle 2021 Subaru Forester. There's the VIN and the date and time that it was created as well.
And then we have a nice customer facing for your customers. So “Thanks for visiting us. Below is a report that highlights any potential issues on your 2021 Subaru Forester.” And then it just gives us a check of all available systems.
Here's what needs attention, here's what had no issues found. And then if we scroll down further, it brings us to our Code Scan results with the different systems, the different code outlines and so on and so forth. We can go down here, no systems without codes. And then there's my readiness monitor information down there at the bottom. So it's a nice enhancement, a lot more friendly customer facing, I guess you could say, for this report.
And it can still be shared through Snap-On® Cloud. It can be printed out and handed to the customer off the tool as well. So, all in all, a great enhancement to help customer communications.
