Overview
How to adjust and select the best power management settings.
Resolution
- From the main menu click on the DESKTOP button.
This will display the Windows Start/Task Bar.
(This step does not apply to 10.2 and older VERUS).
- Click on START > CONTROL PANEL
- Double tap on POWER OPTIONS
- On the Power Schemes tab, Power Schemes dropdown menu select Home/Office Desk
- On the Power Schemes tab, Settings for Portable/Laptop power scheme verify ALL settings are all set to Never
- Select the Hibernate tab and ensure the Enable Hibernation box is NOT checked.
- Click OK to close the Power Options Properties window.
