DGA6000 LINK Quick Start Guide

Overview

Symptoms

Use this Quick Start Guide to start using your new DGA6000 LINK Emissions Analyser great features.

Resolution

1. Remove outer packaging and shrink wrap.

2. Remove all boxes from the workstation. Check the boxes, you should have the following items:

• Wireless laser A4 printer

• Exhaust probe

• Diesel hose

• Diesel exhaust probe

• WOTI device

• EOBD dongle

• Temperature probe

• Power cable

• Air mouse (Inc 2* AAA batteries)

• Leak check tool

• Wireless Wi-Fi smoke analyser

• SGMIII Gas Analyser

• Petrol hose

3. Cut the bottom cable straps securing the workstation to the pallet. Release the brakes behind the wheels.

4. Roll the workstation off the pallet. Tilt the unit forward and roll off the pallet using the keyboard tray to steady the unit. Note: When removing the workstation from the pallet please do so with care.

5. Connect the petrol probe to the end of the petrol hose.

6. Connect the petrol probe and hose to the SGMIII gas analyser head. Place the gas analyser head on the dock, located on the right hand side of the workstation. 
   Hang the hose on the support supplied and place the probe into the hole in the base of the unit.

7. Connect the diesel hose to the diesel probe. Connect the diesel probe and hose to the smoke analyser head. Place the smoke analyser head on the dock, located on the left hand side of the workstation.
   Place the exhaust probe into the hole in the base.

8. Remove the WOTI (Wireless Oil Temperature Interface) device from the box, connect the oil temperature probe and hook on the back of the keyboard shelf.

9. Remove the leak check tool from the box and place into the hole on the keyboard shelf. Remove the EOBD device from the box and place into the hole on the keyboard shelf.

10. Place batteries into the Air Mouse. 

11. Unpack the printer and connect the printer power cable to a wall outlet. Insert A4 paper into the paper tray. Turn on the printer.

12. Insert the Emissions analyser power cable to the rear of the unit. Plug the Emissions analyser into the wall outlet.

13. Turn on the Emissions analyser at the back of the unit. The switch should illuminate when power is on.

14. Power up checks

• PC will start up.

• Smoke Head status lights will flash. (Green flashing whilst warming up. Steady green light when ready).

• SGMIII Gas Analyser status lights will flash. (Blue flashing whilst warming up. Steady blue light when ready).

• When switched on the unit will automatically start up the software and complete the warm up checks on both the gas and smoke modules.

15. Check that your printer is connected.
    On the printer look at the status light. A flashing light means it is trying to connect, a steady light means it is connected to your Emissions analyser and ready for use.

16. Remove protective film from decals on the front of the unit. Your system is now ready for use.
